It is always an honor when a couple selects you as the person that will capture the memories of one of the most important days of their life. It’s an even bigger honor when one of those individuals is also a professional photographer!
Jen and Jeff decided to do a destination wedding, returning to the scenic mountain side community where they first got engaged. Blowing Rock, North Carolina is an idyllic community nestled in the shadow of Grandfather Mountain. Jen and Jeff rented a cabin for the week which is where they got ready. Afterwards, we took the slow and winding road up to the top of Grandfather Mountain, capturing portraits of them along the way. Heading back down the Mountain (and after a brief delay while they repaired the extremely narrow road leading to the top of the Mountain) Jen and Jeff were joined by their family and friends for a beautiful and very unique wedding ceremony in Macrae Meadow. We ended the day with one of the best dinners I have had in a while at The Best Cellar in Blowing Rock.
From start to finish, their wedding was a beautiful and extremely creative experience. A very special and sincere thank you to this wonderful couple for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day
